Brian Philip Trela has been practicing consumer-oriented law since 1986 in both trial and appellate practice.  His primary emphasis involves representing injured people in cases involving motor vehicle and bicycle accidents, defective products, government and highway liability, worksite accidents, dog bites, and equine accidents.   He also represents consumers in disputes with contractors on issues ranging from substandard work and mechanic's liens.

Mr. Trela received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from UCLA, and obtained his Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from Western State University College of Law, where he was associate editor of the Law Review.  He also serves as a court-appointed arbitrator, assigned by the Orange County Superior Court to hear civil disputes involving personal injury claims.

Mr. Trela is also an avid horseman as an owner and breeder of thoroughbred racehorses.  He can be seen every weekend morning atop his stable pony at the racetrack at Fairplex Park in Pomona.
